Melidae Crown

As she cradled the rough, gnarled bark of her home-tree in her hands, she leant over the swaying boughs to listen to those who moved in the city below her forest. The whoosh of the train was not unlike the sound of wind in her own leaves, she thought, nor the laughter of children so different from birdsong. Perhaps she should leave her tree … and explore the world beyond.
After all, the forest would ever be with her.
This intricate headdress is composed of eight branches, sixteen butterflies, and numerous, bountiful flowers in a kaleidoscope of colors that allow your dryads and earth spirits to keep part of their forests and gardens with them wherever they travel
