For those individuals we hold dear, we forge an intimate connection through profound and eloquent eye contact. When our gaze falls upon the ones we cherish, our focus converges solely upon their eyes, rendering the rest of the world an indistinct haze.
This phenomenon mirrors the essence of crafting our three-dimensional characters within intricate scenes. Establishing a visceral connection with these characters yields artwork of immense potency and enduring resonance. Notably, this connection is predominantly governed by the character's eyes – how they are luminously illuminated and how their expressions are meticulously rendered.
Regrettably, an abundance of rendered works present eyes that convey a dispassionate and lifeless quality, thereby instilling the entire character (and scene) with a profound sense of soullessness!
