Scars come in two styles: carved (healed inwards, caved-in skin) and keloid (healed outwards, bumpy skin). All 44 are HD, so the character must be set to SubDivision of 3 or 4 to display them. Scripts to change the SubD Render Level are included!
As with our recent products, the FPE Scar Geoshell has a pre-applied scar texture. We ensure the application looks the same regardless of your character's skin shader. The Geoshell lets you build, change, tweak, and delete scars without affecting your character's skin.
This Geoshell works with our previous FPE HD Face Scars and FPE HD Body Scars packs for Genesis 9.
Apply the Scar Geoshell, then use the preset "FPE Limbs Scars 01.1 Apply Face and Torso Maps". This will let you use the LIE Masks from the Face and Body Scar Packs on the Geoshell. The Material and Utility Presets will also change all the scars.
The Geoshell has 18 skin color presets. Keloid MATs are lighter than Carved MATs. You can mix and match colors for even more variety.
We also included 16 Partial Material and Property Presets (Utility Presets) to help refine the look. Instructions on how to use everything are available via scripts, detailing the application process, troubleshooting, and extra preset usage tips.
Once you apply a Layered Image Editor (LIE) Preset, scars will show on the Geoshell. Each LIE applies one mask on the cutout opacity channel for quick application. There are 11 different masks, with mirror applications, for a total of 22 Scars to match the HD Morphs. A preset to clear the LIE is included.
