It came from beyond the stars... or did it? Proving that a flying saucer doesn't have to look like a hubcap, Flying Saucer is a meaty spaceship which just happens to be lenticular. With modelled greeble and a detailed texture map, it's ready for service as either an alien vessel or one from Earth's own future - or even distant past. Ready means ready, too. At the spin of a dial, landing gear extends. At the spin of another, a disembarkation pod lowers; again, and the pod door opens. One more time, and a ramp extends to meet the ground. On top of that, the large bay doors on either side open to reveal a modelled interior for shuttlecraft or cargo (neither provided). Not enough? Then fire up the engines and watch the beams of force extend from the five rear thrusters. Behind the windows - the forward flight deck, port and starboard observation decks, and key quarters - modelled interiors can just about be seen. Even Klaatu might have considered killing for a conveyance like this.
