Take a rare peek into a leprechaun’s lair, and welcome in the green with these St. Patrick’s Day backgrounds. These scenes aren’t for leprechaun’s alone, however, any fairy or Irish lass would make themselves at home here. There’s enough green in these backgrounds to rival the Emerald Isle, and here, pots of gold, baskets of shamrocks, and good old Irish luck, are always overflowing.
There are sixteen variations of the backgrounds, some are plain and await the ornamentation of your talented hand. Others are ready to use. Most of the images I used to create these backgrounds are from my other graphics packages. I’ve included a few recolorized versions of previously released graphics for your convenience. I’ve also included the lantern I used in several of the scenes. The lantern doesn’t light up like in the backgrounds. You must paint on the color of your light, use a gaussian blur, and set the layer properties to make it look glowing. I suggest that you experiment with soft light, screen, and overlay layer properties.
