Merchant Crew Action

Merchant Crew Action
Set Sail for High Seas Adventure!

Merchant Crew Action features Faveral’s incomparable San Buenaventura merchant ship. Included are 40 poses for a wide range of sailing activities for deckhands and topmen. Passenger poses are included.

All poses will position the sailors in precise locations, as shown. All 40 poses can be used in one scene. Deckhands can be easily relocated about the ship. Topmen can be moved to other spots and more can be added.

Many of the crew poses can be combined with the Boarding Party Action poses without collisions. Those that occupy the same area can be moved around.

The Caravel was developed by the Portuguese around 1450 as an ocean-going trade vessel. Its triangular lanteen sail at the stern allowed it to better sail into the wind. The caravel’s shallow draft allowed it to sail in coastal waters as well as up some of the larger rivers. It was the standard European merchant ship design a few hundred years, sailing on three oceans and more than seven seas. It was of course, a favorite target of pirates.

The tide is right to weigh anchor and ride the waves.
