The Hangar

00-main-the-hangar-daz3d
Dena slowly crept along the Hangar floor, being sure to keep her movements slow to avoid the Enforcer’s detection systems, but just to be safe she had her Anti-Ecog guns with her…those things could tear it up like nobody’s business. The lumbering beasts were more attuned to detect sound but once activated they detected movement, heat signatures, sound waves and a whole host of other categories…basically they became a big problem, very fast. If you were wearing an Enforcer Mask clip, then they ignored you all together…that was Dena’s goal this morning, on the far end of the Hangar. Fortunately, they were all lined up single file which would encumber all but the front Enforcer’s weapons. Her wrist sensor was on a heat signature setting and made the smallest of sounds as a guard entered the Hangar on the far end of the floor, “Ding”. Dena immediately froze behind one of the support beams and watched the nearest Enforcer, nothing happened. The guard checked a panel and then left from the same door as he entered. Dena wasn’t moving, she wasn’t breathing she was standing as still as she could, without being physically dead…she was trying to avoid that last part. The seconds turned into minutes and still she watched.

Suddenly the nearest Enforcer’s lights silently clicked “On”…it sounded like thunder clap inside of Dena’s chest. “Oh man, here we go,” she whispered as she spun around and brought her Anti-Ecog guns to bear. Smiling she yelled, “Hey trash-can, ready to get dumped?!”
