

The Schiavona sword has an unique hilt, also known as basket-hilt that was developed to give the Swordmen the necessary protection on their hands without having to wear an iron gauntlet. It appeared to replace the broadsword, and was mainly used by fierce soldiers. They were distinctive swords in Spain, used by the bodyguards to the Doge of Venice, and by the warriors that fought against the Ottomans.
It can be dual wielded but be careful not to use the cursed one too much!
