AtoZ Two Post Lift Set

Ok, so all automotive repair garages and places that sell batteries and tires today use "new fangled" HydraulicLifts, but no so many years ago, mechanics had to use REAL Two Post Hydraulic Lifts like this one! Shucks, I hadto use this type of lift for years to work on everything from Studebakers to modern Mercedes Benz vehicles! This model sets includes:A fully articulated Two Post Hydraulic Lift,A Tall Tripod Jack StandA textured version of the Jack Stand that is in the Free Items at Content Paradise with the bonus feature it has ahigher lift capability!AND, you get four Bonus SPLOTCHES that can easily be moved and scaled to fit the floor of just about any garage. Splotches add a real world feel of a properly well seasoned working mans garage floor. NOTE: These can be used on walls as well!Heres what in the set, and how it works! A: The Two Post Lift (as shown in the promotional pictures) articulates as follows: 1) The two posts are separated by a null body object (that you should locate just below floor level) and this null allows you to scale the assembly if and as necessary for your scenes. 2) The Two Posts can be moved closer or further apart to suit your needs. 3) The posts go up and down (Hint: use the Hierarchy Editor to add your model to the Lift Assembly for animations of vehicles that you want to have go up and down on the lift) 4) All four Lift Arms swing in and out independently. 5) Each Lift Arm has an extension piece which you can adjust in and out with their ERC dials. 6) AND, each of the four lift pads can be both rotated and adjusted up and down using their pivots. Also included are a few different colored versions of the lifts but less addjustable un-textured for your LowRes renders.B: The Tripod Jack Stand adjusts up and down, and the head can be rotated as needed via the models body ERCs. Its a great tool that makes it possible to safely replace springs, transmissions and whatever C: The Jack Stand is rated at 5 tons, its latch can be operated and the height adjusted as necessary using the body ERCs so that work can be done safely under a vehicle. D: The Splotches I always tried to keep my work area clean, but in some of the places I worked the floor was just impossible to clean! Suffice it to say the floors did not look or stay clean! They were, to pick a work SPLOTCHED! I cant explain it better than my ad pictures show it. BTW: Want a darker or lighter Splotch? Its easy to go to the Materials Room and simply adjust the Ambient color careful it gets really light really easily. Hey! Couldnt you use a Splotch to dirty up some windows?
